When you use Couples Compass, we collect:
Your name and email address — to create your account
Your household's income range and financial allocations — to build your plan
Your zip code — to estimate take-home pay
We do not collect your Social Security number, bank login credentials, or any government ID.
If you connect a bank account through Plaid, that connection is managed entirely by Plaid. We only receive read-only transaction categories — never your banking passwords or account numbers.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Couples Compass never sees or stores your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV. Stripe holds all of that. We only receive confirmation that your payment was successful.

Your financial information is personal. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or trade it. Full stop.
We use your data for one purpose: to run Couples Compass and help your household build a financial plan together.
If you want to delete your account and all your data, email us at support@couplescompass.me with the subject line "Delete my account." We aim to confirm deletion within 5 business days.
For any other questions, that same email reaches a real person.
